Glendale Martin Luther King Jr. Peace Walk and Festival

Join Glendale and First German UMC to participate in the 3rd annual Glendale Martin Luther King Jr. Peace Walk. The walk celebrates our progress in making Glendale a city where everyone is welcome and is intended to renew our dedication to continue this work. The walk is an effort to set aside a time when the city can come together as a community to celebrate our common bonds and honor Martin Luther King Jr. The festival will feature music, speakers and local food vendors.

Due to the high probability of rain showers on Monday, please plan to rally at First Baptist Church of Glendale, 209 N Louise St, Glendale, CA 91206 (corner of Wilson Ave. and Louise St.). If weather permits, following the rally we will do the 0.8 mile Peace Walk that will arrive back at First Baptist Church. Here is the morning schedule:

10:00 am: Arrive at First Baptist Church of Glendale (corner of Wilson and Louise)
10:30: Celebration Rally Begins at First Baptist Church
11:30: Peace Walk begins OR Festival Booths Open Inside Church / Food Trucks Open Outside Church
