Local high school student, Ian, will be collecting new or gently used shoes of any size or style at First German UMC’s Open Table event on October 20th from 6:30PM to 8:30PM.
Donations will be given to Soles4Souls, an organization that works nationally and internationally to combat poverty and its effects.
Open Table will continue to be an opportunity to get some wonderful food and sit around the table with old and new friends and family. We’ll also get to enjoy music. You’re welcome to bring something you’d like to share along with your shoes for donation.
Invite your friends and neighbors to this month’s Open Table – especially if they have a lot of shoes they aren’t wearing!
